Born and considered a "Rainbow baby", Cameren Dare' White has been nothing more than a blessed child. On September 3rd, 2010 she entered the world at almost 9pm during hurricane Earl. Cameren was going to be nicknamed "Stormy", because she already survived so many odds coming into this world. She is a force to be reckoned with.
At such a young age Cameren has already accomplished so much, all while staying involved within her community. Cameren is classified as a "Gifted" student and has won 1st Place at the District Science Fair and made it to District's the 2nd year of competing in the Science Fair for Norfolk Public Schools. In 3rd & 4th grade, Cameren was selected as cheerleading captain for her former elementary school, Richard Bowling until COVID. Cameren was also requested to be the spokes person on behalf of her school regarding COVID and its impact on students and teachers. Cameren has won the Grand Parents Writing Essay & excels in writing so much she passed her 5th grade SOLs. Cameren is a Straight A honor Roll Student, has received Citizenship Awards, Principle's Awards, House of Delegate Honoree/ Certificates, Student of the Month and so much more.
Cameren is very active within the youth ministry at her church, New Mount Carmel Baptist, Norfolk VA where she's in the Praise and Worship Dance Ministry, Youth Choir & C.V. Russell Marching Ambassadors Band. She reads scriptures, lead songs, minsters praise dance solos and is frequent for prayer. Her early introduction into ministry has allowed her to become bold in God.
Cameren continues to be involved in community events like feeding the Homeless & Community Christmas. Cameren has a strong passion for Cancer Advocacy and has assisted in several Breast Cancer Events such as "The First Annual Breast Cancer Benefits Gala".
Cameren has always been a beacon of hope to everyone she encounters. She is often deemed as an old soul & beyond her years but always exudes respect & integrity.
Recently, with the help of her mother, Cameren has started her own business, Coconut Dreamz LLC., where she is committed in encouraging adults and children to "Always dream & dream big"!
Cameren loves being creative & always enjoys hands on projects. She currently creates beautiful paintings that help many escape the realities of COVID and everyday living. She also designs signature jewelry & offers her very own apparel.
Moreover, her greatest accomplishment to date is the publishing of her 1st book which was written when she was only 10 years old, entitled "Coconut Saves The Day: The COVID Monster".
Ultimately, this young entrepreneur aspires to be an architect, maintain her current business & create more opportunities for other children to excel just as she is doing.
